Install Carpenter


Position Description

  • Must pass a drug test and a background check.
  • Typical start time is 5:00 AM, however hours vary as requested by the owner or general contractor of each work site.
  • Primary duty is to install cabinets and trim on the jobsite.
  • Must be familiar with the use and care of power and hand tools that are required in a cabinet shop.
  • May be required to work with other carpenters or helpers on projects and be able to oversee the quality and keep the others productive while on that project.
  • Position requires ability to work with lumber, veneer, and sheet goods as well as plastic laminate.
  • May assist in keeping shop area clean.
  • Requires some heavy lifting.
  • Requires wearing a hard hat and safety glasses that will be provided to you by Contemporary Cabinets.

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years installation experience of commercial millwork or high end residential cabinets and trim.
